Because a garden is a place where many people
spill out their heart and soul into their work, the garden flag
they put into the garden often says a lot about who they are
and what kinds of things they value.
For example, many people like to put American flags by their
backyard and garden areas. Obviously this says that the gardener
is patriotic and not ashamed to show it.
Other garden flags are slightly less patriotic, but equally
symbolic. Because there is a garden flag made for simply every
holiday of the year, the garden owner could find himself changing
flags a couple of times each month, depending on what time of
year it is.
But, if you are trying to help educate people about what kinds
of produce are in the garden, it may perhaps be best to buy
flags that can be placed next to the areas where these items
are growing. This will also allow you to better keep track of
where items should be sprouting and also be able to judge which
areas of a yard yield the most fruit or vegetables.
Of course, anyone who is interested enough could also get a
garden flag custom made, but for all intents and purposes, it
is rare that this needs to be done.
