Garden bench
A garden bench makes an excellent memorial. But why? A bench is a place for people to rest, chat, and enjoy nature. A bench is somewhere where people stop before they continue on their journeys. It is a place to make friends. It is a place to get away from friends and life and everything besides the birds and the trees.
A garden bench is a great place to sit and think. It is a place to reminisce about the one whom it is dedicated to. It is a place to think about the past, but also a place to think about the future. It is much more than just a plaque of honor – it is something that can be cherished for much longer by many people (even those who do not fully understand why it is there). It is useful and enjoyed by all.
A memorial bench can be placed in a personal garden, or, with proper authority, it can be placed in a city park or along a hike. Think of a place for the garden bench that the person whom it honors truly loved. Think of a place where you, yourself, would like to remember that person.
